So here's the latest update on how I'm doing.... My jaw aches off and on, especially when I don't have ice on it, but whenever I do, it makes my face ache a little from the cold. I've got ice-filled tube socks tied to my head at the moment... *giggle* I look sorta funny. But I have an excuse to get KK and shadowbat to wait on me a little more than usual. *grin* Unfortunately I can't yet eat anything that I have to chew, including pasta, so I can't have ramen. *pout* Everyone but me has ramen. And KK just finished her broth so I can't steal it. *sigh* I get broths and not-chunky soups like pea soup and tomato soup and such, and I can have tea and hot cocoa... But I can't have anything I have to chew, no matter how soft, until sometime tomorrow. Technically if I wanted to I could have ramen, I would just have to swallow the noodles whole. Which would kinda suck. But other than that it seems to be fine. One of the four spaces, the one with a tooth already coming through the gum, didn't get stitched as much as the others because the tooth had already broken the gum, so I have a funny hole there. All the others have dissolving stitches in them, and I have to resist the urge to poke at all of them with my tongue. Also, the baggies the ice is in inside the socks have holes in them, so I'm rather consistently damp at the moment.
And I kinda have cabin fever. I'm somewhere between curling up and going back to sleep, or seeing if we can go out shopping or something. I'm a little too restless to sleep any more right now, but not quite up to going out yet. *sigh* Oh well... We'll see how I'm feeling again in the morning.
