Alas... Earwax.

So today has been a rather interesting day. Slept strangely last night, as in I couldn't at first, I woke up in the middle of the night and was AWAKE for about fifteen minutes, and then when my alarm went off at eight I was again AWAKE. I insisted upon going back to sleep for the extra half hour I could squeeze out of the morning, and forfeited a shower and breakfast to do so. I was supposed to shovel the walk before work, it having not been done yesterday before dark. I worked at 9:45 this morning. It kinda didn't work out that way, but I ended up getting a ride anyways.
After a morning of dizzy and ill feelings, I was NOT enthused to go to work. So I get there, clock in, wait for the meeting to end. And then, Senior A comes up to me and says "How would you feel about only staying until about 11:30 or noon today?" Hell Yes~! was my first thought, followed by a suspicious "Why?" Apparently we're short on budget for the week. Which works out just fine in my book, it means I only worked about two hours today. Yes I need the money, but the day made better was well worth it.
I'm still in a strange place as far as mood goes, but talking with E_A on the phone for a couple hours helped immensely.
However, coming home early meant that I got to finish the shoveling. Both of my hands ache slightly right now from holding the shovel and moving the heavy wet snow around. I totally want to offer the neighbor's kid money to shovel our walk when it snows. X.x I'm gonna go over there before work tomorrow and ask, I think.
Anyways, I think that was all I had for today. ^_^ I'll post more again later.
