AUGH. MOVING.
So today is the last day of crazymadpacking. And I'm nowhere near done. Everyone else, on an individual basis, is pretty much done. The household, not so much. Me? nowhere near.
We're leaving for sunny Cali tomorrow. I can't wait. I want so desperately to be in the sun, on the coast, on vacation. It'll be wonderful. I'll try to keep up with any comments/emails/friendslist posts while I'm gone, but I'm going to have limited internet through my mama's laptop. Two weeks. Two lovely, wonderous weeks. And then, we come back to the moving. Hopefully the two weeks will make us all less stressed about the move, and we can just get it over with, ne?
I have gotten a lot of good energy for the move, and for my ankle. The ankle is healing amazingly fast, at least for the first part. I've been able to walk on it from pretty much day one (with a lot of caution and rest in between) without much pain, if any. I'm walking normally now, limping only when I end up putting too much weight in the wrong direction, or when I'm thinking about it too much. I should be out of the air splint soon, and I'm getting a Neoprene brace for the trip.
I realized something, though. This injury? Means no DDR arcade while we're there. Sucks ass.
Time to go run some errands, I may or may not post more later today. See you all on the flip side~!
ETA: OMG the universe needs to die. As I stood up to go run errands... The pain, it kills. Yay for cramps and bleeding. I think the advil -just- (finally) kicked in. That is all.
