Comes a news update. Not that most of you are following that closely.
Still in Cali. Still safe. Still have emo shoes (black with white pinstripe, ten bucks at target. rawk.) and a brace on my bad ankle. Was dumb, today.
I decided to go run around the Redwood Forest play area with my brother. For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's got large amounts of wooden and rope bridges as well as ground-level activities. Most of which I am too big for, sadly. So it was no big surprise when I slipped and caught myself on my bad ankle, ne? I did not further injure myself, nor do anything worse than pop my ankle (which, it seems, needed done anyways) and make it twinge for all of about five seconds. Huzzah.
So far, it seems to be holding up well. It aches at the end of the day, but by then my foot aches from the walking as much as (if not more than) the ankle itself. I'm trying to remember to do the stretches E_A gave me, but I can't do them in shoes easily, and I don't think about it here until now, just as I'm headed for bed.
We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow, so I should sleep soon, but I wanted to share the news that everyone continues to be okay. Aside from my dumb.
Also? When one hears loud banging noises, reminiscent of cannon fire, at about nine thirty in the evening, in your hotel (which is about a block from Disneyland), one should perhaps think about the fact that Disney does a fireworks show on Friday and Saturday nights. About then. Yeah. XD It was a gorgeous veiw from our hotel, though not our side of it. Oh well. Brother and I stood outside and watched a large part of the show, once we had all figured out that it was only fireworks. Poor KK woke up and flailed when we opened the door to peer out in curiousity, startled by the suddenly-louder cannon noises. XD Poor thing, she crashed out fast tonight. As I should be doing.
So farewell to you all (comment~! Is a comment whore, yes we is~!) and may you all be as happy as we are, here at the Happiest Place on Earth (tm). XD
Night y'all~!
