n.n Cleaning and stuffs~

So packmentality is here to visit for her spring break, just in time for the water heater to break down. Thankfully it turns out all we had to do was push the reset button, which was behind a screwed-on panel and some insulation, and it was up and running again.

This is, of course, after nearly 24 hours without hot water, and the landlord shows up to fix it while I'm still in my pajamas. D'oh.

But it was all fixed, nice and easy, and now we know what to do if it conks out on us again.

On an entirely different note, I got a bunch of stuff picked up and put away in my room last night. More books unpacked, a handful of stuff to get rid of. Found another button down shirt to send to compos_dementis when I send her her secret gift. Have a book set aside to mail off to fmtenpo when I next mail him stuff. I'm sure there'll be more for both of them as I go, and possibly some for eccentric_alex and others back home.

My room looks much better, and it makes me feel better as well. I'm showered and dressed and thinking about doing more cleaning work in here once I've gotten some work done on my story and eaten something.

Huzzah. Thus, off to the eating and the writing so I can get to the cleaning~ <3
