Have you ever had one of those movie moments, where the eyes of a stranger meet yours across a crowded room, and everything slows down to heartbeat speed as your heart speeds up, skips a beat? That twisting moment in the pit of your stomach that reminds you of falling, leaves you breathless..
But you know they'll be gone in another instant, passed you by to go on with their own life, and you'll go on with yours. So that's all you get is that one brilliantly long instant with your gazes locked together and hearts beating, before something breaks your gaze and it's all over. It stays with you all day afterwards, too, doesn't it...
And unless one of you is named Brian, and the other Justin, (or Stuart and Nathan, for you British folk) nothing will ever come of it.
I have to get off to work now, but I had to type that up.
That was a moment of my life, yesterday.
Do you believe in that feeling? Has anybody else ever had that moment?
