It's come down to this, guys. I'm desperate, I'm begging.
I need every penny I'm getting to pay off my bills. $250 a month doesn't go far, but it allows me to scrape by.
My Beloved is tired of giving me money for unexpected expenses, and frivolous things are very low on my list right now, because I need both dental work and chiropractic work in a semi-urgent manner. However, that being said, I have been invited to go to Burning Man this year, and in order to cover all of my expenses I must turn to my friends and loved ones to pitch in just a tiny bit.
If you don't want to, don't worry, I won't hold it against you. If you want something in return for your donation, for example a story you want written or artistic photographs of Seattle or (if you're local) some housework/yardwork done, I would gladly make it a trade! If you're hard up for cash yourself, just send me good energy, I will gratefully accept that as well.
It's not going to kill me if I don't get to go, but it is a wonderful opportunity that I may not get again, and I'm thrilled at the prospect of getting to go this year. So, please, if you can spare a dollar or five, click the button.
Thanks for your time, and I'll get off my tidy little soap box and get on with trying to find a short-term job or something in my area. Love, kisses, and a million thanks just for reading.
ETA as of the 19th: Plus, I have a $150 speeding ticket from my Failsauce Saturday. Fully intend to go to court and plead guilty and ask if I can break it into payments because I have LIKE NO EFFING MONEY RIGHT NOW, but we shall see how that goes.
