Friiiidaaaaay~

I got my new laptop battery yesterday! I was so exhausted from work and just life that I didn't get it actually opened and on the laptop until this morning, but now here I am. Approximately two hours from now it will be fully charged and ready to adventure to strange new places like the hallway table XD

All in all the whole thing wasn't a bad deal; after replacing the dying battery the whole laptop cost me about $200 and it's a hardy Lenovo Thinkpad, so it should last a while. Plenty of hard drive space, plenty of ram (I still have to work on not having a kajillion tabs open at a time though), and a backlit keyboard <3


In other news I have a proper date with Waifu tonight; we're gonna go do a little spa thing! I get a pedicure, she gets her eyebrows done, and then we're gonna come home and dye her hair~ Black fade into a deep blue and I think it's gonna be amazing :D I might pick a new color for my hair too. And then we're going to karaoke. It should be an excellent evening~ I'm very excited x3


I'm so glad I have fri-sun off from work regularly, I'm so tired by the end of the week and I barely even do that much. It's discouraging. I'm definitely starting to feel the burnout on this career; it's not enough just to be switching clients every six months to a year or so. I love that I'm helping people, I love the idea of the work I do, but the reality is that I constantly feel like a glorified housekeeper. I cook, clean, and run errands. I make decent money doing it, but at 25ish hours a week it's still very tight, and I'm still tired af at the end of the week; how would I even work a full time job anymore? Eugh. But mostly I think I'm just tired of the job, so we shall see.


Puppy updates; he chewed through the dollar store leash and collar that I got, but as of last night he finally has his kennel back so he can't get out and destroy anything or eat all the cat food XD But I wish I could let him and the cats roam free. I think Momo would have an issue with Otis and Francine and I know Bear freaks her and Squeaker out but I think it's sad that they have to stay in the kennel all day.

I think that's all the updates for now lol but at least I'm still writing regularly...

Welp

So much for today's plans... the place Waifu and I went to do our spa date thing was closing soon and their wax lady was gone on vacation anyway. We gonna get up and go tomorrow morning instead to a different place :3

Cats spent several hours out of the kennel today while Bunny had her pup, and so far Otis just wants to make all the frands and Francine is a delicate princess who wants everyone to get along... while Momo is a territorial queen bitch and Squeaker is a grumpy old man. So her babies are back in the kennel for the night.
