I got a letter from the guy I worked for up at RenFaire last year. His typical "Let me know if you'll be returning this year" letter, but it made me want so badly to be there.

Hehe, damn I wish I had a good camera. I want to show you all this outfit. I finally have a full Ren outfit this year, despite not picking up any outfit pieces last year at Faire except for a skirt that I ended up keeping.
White half-sleeved shirt with lace at the sleeve ends, black velvet vest (four buttons) over it, and a black skirt that has suffered a bit of shortening, worn under an ankle-length green silk skirt for purposes of the world not seeing my underpants. (And no, you perverts, I'm not going to tell you what I'm wearing underneath the outfit.)
God I miss RenFaire sooooooo much right now. I want to be back in Colorado, getting ready for it. Finding a tent, getting ready to set up a campspace, finding more than one outfit for the whole summer, arranging with my day job to have my weekends free for eight weeks... Or better yet, not having to, just having the money set aside and not worry about it. Or to have a Mon-Fri nine to five sort of job. That would be even better.
God. Damn.
I need a job.
I need a camera.
I need all of my friends to live closer to me.
Especially my boyfriend.
*sigh*
So I'm gonna post this before I forget, and then head out to the library with Mama.
