I believe the words "I hate my life" come to mind.

I woke up to a strange red-orange glow outside my window.

"It's too early for the sunrise," I think. So I sit up, stretch, reach for the blinds.

And it's fucking snowing like crazy.

Geez, I only slept for four hours. Did this start before I fell asleep? Cause, dayum. Lotta snow.

Dx I don't want to go to work in this. I'm going to have to steal my heavy coat back from KK.

Siiiigh.

Hey hey hey, and I almost forgot.

WINTER IS HERE.

It SNOWED here in Seattle. I am no longer homesick. Please for to STOP WITH THE SNOW NOW. Dx

I got to go stomp around in it though. ♥ [livejournal.com profile] shadowbat and I went to the store together last night, and he talked me into buying yogurt, turkey tv dinners, and a pot pie. <.< I'm a sucker. It was fun though~.

And thankfully, this morning appears to be melting rather rapidly, so by the time I work tomorrow things should be cleared up pretty well. I think I need a better jacket though.

<3 that's all for that update.

It's snowing. Again.

X.X

I thought we were done with this snow thing.

Updates on personal life:
[livejournal.com profile] fmtenpo payed for a couple of extra nights in his hotel, since with the previous storms and my work schedule we hadn't had a lot of time to actually spend with one another. He was scheduled to leave sometime today. He spent up until we went to sleep last night periodically popping up out of the bed and peering out the window. We didn't go to sleep until about two in the morning, at least. So sometime between two/two thirty this morning and six, it snowed a good four inches or so. *sigh* Which lead to M's internal alarm going off sometime around six, and him getting up, peering out the window, and pacing frantically about the room for several minutes. Also, trying to wake me up, which is rather like trying to make a sloth move when he doesn't feel like it. So while he was outside checking how bad the snow was, (I was still curled up with my head buried beneath the covers,) my mother called to say "He needs to get going if he's going to make it home safely."
*facepalm*
So here I am, at not-yet-eight in the morning, wide awake, home, and worrying. He's told me he'll keep in touch along the way, so I don't have to worry too hard. Mom came and picked me up, to keep him from having to make that extra trek in his journey (it's a seven hour drive back to Durango from here) and to make sure I got home safely so neither of them needed to worry about my safety as well.

I cannot wait for rain instead of snow. Rain doesn't pile up quite the same. *heads off to do more packing in order to get to Seattle sooner*

So to those of my friends also living in Colorado, good luck, stay warm, stay safe, and let me know you are all home, safe, warm, and well.
I love you all dearly.
