so I don't understand how the concept of putting something back where you got it from is so difficult for everyone else. Use the scissors? put them back. Use spices from the cabinet while you're cooking? put them back when you're done. Use the tweezers or nail clippers in the bathroom? put them back in the dish they live in when you're done. IT'S NOT FUCKING ROCKET SCIENCE. It doesn't take a million miles of effort, it doesn't even take the effort of moving rooms. Get, use, put back.

So why are my scissors always missing, the tweezers and nail clippers on the counter, an assortment of spices strewn about the kitchen? Because my fucking adult roommates are monsters, clearly.

Clean up after yourself, or ASK for help. Do things that need done when you see them, or ASK someone who hasn't noticed to do it if you need help. I get that we aren't all functional, that we are basically all spoonies except The Bear who is a Man and doesn't do jack all that he isn't asked to anyways. :eyerolls:

Sometimes a couple dishes end up in a room for a day, I know I'm as guilty as anyone. But a hoard of them? unacceptable.

I'm so tired of feeling like I'm the one who notices and picks up after everyone else, tbh.

I guess that's the end of my rant, I got distracted and now I gotta go put pants on and get to work.

Had an... eventful 24 hours, for sure. So my two cats, Squeaker and Momo, they're both assholes, but to different degrees.

Squeaker is a big fat black scaredy cat (who is improving dramatically since Leon has been here, which I take to be a very good sign) who loudly DEMANDS his share of pets at a random hour of the night but won't lay down, is significantly less inclined to let you pet him when he is relaxed and laying down, hates being picked up for any reason but mostly just whines about it and looks sad, and occasionally when he hasn't been getting his (very expensive, difficult to administer) medication he likes to pee on things that should not be peed on.

We'll come back to that.

Momo is just a bratty princess who throws very deliberate tantrums when things don't go her way. Like the food bowl is empty and it's the middle of the night, so she's going to knock things off the headboard onto your head. Or stare at you and knock things off any flat surface she can reach after yelling at you for five minutes because she's lost all of her toys and needs a new one (to not actually play with) RIGHT NOW. Or sometimes, because she objects to the presence of the dog in your living room (who physically cannot leave the living room btw), she climbs around on the headboard and nightstands and knocks things down.

So, that was last night; Babe's water bottle lands on a brand new glass frame front and shatters it across the carpet and assorted hubris beside the bed. At about three in the morning.

Bright side: Waifu and the ghost of a bear who still lives in our back room had cleaned most of the things up off the floor there earlier yesterday so there wasn't actually much down there to get glass on. Vacuumed today after work. All better.

Today the puppy is a whiny brat at every opportunity, and chewed up my couch some more, but he's cute and six months old and left alone with nothing he's allowed to chew on. I bought him toys. XD Dollar store is a blessing. We also took her out to the park to throw the ball around :3 puppppyyyyyy omg

And then we get back and Squeaker pees on the bed. (See? Told you we'd come back to that.)

So now we're doing more laundry, unexpectedly. Ugggghhhhh.

Update for the very end of the day: snek (Kaa) has been fed a fat rat and had her tank cleaned and the bed is made and I have eaten and everyone but Babe has gone to bed and so should I.

(Also why am I so effing thirsty tonight wtf?)
